SlitherSessions - Privacy Policy

SlitherSessions is a browser extension that adds a control panel to slither.io, letting you spawn and manage snakes that are hosted on a private server.

The extension talks only to the private SlitherSessions server configured by the developer. It does not send your data to the developer, to any analytics service, or to any other third party. It does not sell or share your data with anyone. There are no ads and no tracking.

What information is handled

Account credentials - the username and password created for the SlitherSessions server. These are sent to that server to log you in.
A login token - after you log in, the server returns a token that is stored locally in your browser (localStorage) so you stay signed in.
The server address you configure, which is stored locally.
In-game details - your chosen snake name and the server you have selected in slither.io, read from the page only to pre-fill the spawn form and to label your hosted snakes.

Where the information goes

All of the above is sent only to the SlitherSessions server address you configure in the extension. That server is operated by Sav, the developer running the SlitherSessions instance. The server itself is only maintained by the developer. The extension makes no other network requests to any third party.

What is stored on your device

The login token, the configured server address, and (optionally) an operator key are stored in your browser's localStorage for the slither.io origin. You can clear them at any time by logging out in the panel or clearing site data for slither.io.

What is NOT collected

No browsing history, no data from other websites.
No analytics, telemetry, advertising identifiers, or fingerprinting.
No personal information beyond the account you choose to create.
Nothing is ever sold or shared with third parties.

Permissions

The extension runs only on slither.io and slither.com, which it needs in order to add its control panel to the game page. It contains no remote code.

Data collection & your control

Account and snake data live on the SlitherSessions server and are controlled by the developer (for example, the developer, Sav, can remove and add accounts). Locally stored account information is removed when you log out or clear your browser's site data.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the "Last updated" date above will change. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised policy.
